The Parkview Hotel (Syracuse, USA)

Guests were pleased to find that the rooms were of decent size with plenty of space to move around and also plenty of storage space. Although this is an older building, many appreciated the modern decor and said that the rooms looked like they were recently refurbished with quality furniture and upholstery.

Many guests said that they left their vehicles in the car park for the duration of their stay as all the amenities were within walking distance. The University campus is only a short stroll away whilst Armory Square with its numerous bars, shops and restaurants is also a few blocks away.

The complimentary breakfasts have been described as being of high quality with both hot and cold items available. Guests said that the food was fresh and tasty and that they were pleased to find plenty of items on offer whilst the portions were described as being generous.

Guests said that their first impressions of the hotel were not very favorable die to the dated and run-down appearance of the exterior. The facade was said to be quite dilapidated and looked like it had not been decorated for quite some time.

The hotel is close to a freeway and guests said that the noise from the traffic was quite intrusive at night and prevented many from getting a good night's sleep. Those on the lower floors also mentioned that they could hear cars from the parking lot starting up early in the morning. If you are a light sleeper, it's best to ask for an upper floor room.

The on-site parking lot was described as being quite small with guests stating they experienced difficulties when parking due to the tight and cramped spaces.
