The hotel's location affords stunning views of Lake Champlain and it is just a short walk to Burlington Bay and the waterfront. Burlington airport is only 20-minutes away and the University of Vermont around five to ten minutes. There are lots of different shops, bars and restaurants in the town center in the hotel's immediate vicinity just yards away.
The staff have received so many positive mentions from previous guests for being very helpful and really going out of their way to make guests feel welcome. This includes recommending things to see and do in the area, upgrading rooms and little things like providing goody bags on arrival. Some guests have also reported that after losing items in the hotel or leaving things behind the hotel has then posted them to their home address.
According to some guests the hotel has recently been renovated and rooms are tastefully decorated with a contemporary finish and the beds and pillows are very comfortable.
Whereas there have been many positive reviews of the rooms there have been reports of rooms not being cleaned satisfactorily and general maintenance issues such as broken lamps or tatty furnishings.
