If you prefer boring, corporate accommodation, the Rex Hotel may not be for you. However, if you're interested in staying at a unique, swinging hotel with a dedicated jazz club beneath it, this place is the joint. Enjoy the laid back atmosphere and the smooth sounds while after tour the city.

At the hotel, you can enjoy a free continental breakfast every morning, featuring a light selection of cold and toasted favorites. It's a great way to start your day before exploring the sights and sounds of Toronto.

From the hotel, the entire downtown region is at your fingertips. Whether you're interested in arts, history, nightlife, shopping, or fine dining, you'll be less than a ten minute walk from downtown and its pleasant and culturally relevant destinations.

While some rooms come standard with an en-suite restroom, others share a communal bathroom. You may want to take this into consideration when selecting your room. Rooms with shared facilities may be cheaper, but if you prefer a little more privacy, you might want a dedicated bathroom.

While the hotel rooms are well-soundproofed for the most part, guests who stayed above the Rextaurant have noted that there some jazzy hints drift up through the floorboards. However, unless you absolutely hate jazz, it's low-key enough not to bother most people.
