Lord Baltimore Hotel (Baltimore, USA)

Lord Baltimore boasts an excellent location in downtown Baltimore, close to shopping and dining. Guests found it conveniently located within walking distance to Inner Harbor and most major sights. If you're looking to catch a game, Oriole Park is also within walking distance. There is also a complimentary city shuttle stop, the Circulator, not far from the hotel, which will get you around town.

Lord Baltimore's rooms were recently renovated but managed to keep their historical feel. Guests especially loved the comfortable beds with luxurious down comforters. You'll also want to spend time in the beautiful lobby area, so make plans to have a drink at the LB Tavern and enjoy the live pianist.

Lord Baltimore offers LB Club Level rooms and guests say the upgrade is worth it. The rooms have upgraded amenities, including a bathrobe, slippers and Molton Brown toiletries. In addition, you'll receive a complimentary breakfast and access to the private LB Club Level Lounge, where there is a wine and cheese reception every evening.

The breakfast at Lord Baltimore's restaurants is rated as mediocre in quality and selection, and the buffet is only served on weekends. In addition, the time frame in which it is served is very limited and breakfast always ends pretty early.

While most of the staff is kind, welcoming and helpful, housekeeping can be less than perfect. Guests say they were inattentive to detail when cleaning the rooms. In addition, room service tends to be slow.

There is parking available (for a surcharge) but it is a couple blocks away, which most guests found a bit inconvenient. In addition, the parking garage does not have in/out privileges. Guests were also disappointed that there is no valet parking available.
