    Great location

    The location is the greatest thing about staying here. Everything is on your doorstep, from the beach to the restaurants and the shops. Waikiki's best attractions are just a few steps away. The hotel is situated on the public bus line which is convenient for all the major attractions in Oahu. For convenience, this hotel is excellent and this is really appreciated by the guests.

    Airy and spacious rooms

    The rooms in the Kuhio Banyan Hotel have large windows which let in lots of light and give the room an airy, spacious feeling. There are also large mirrors in the rooms which give an illusion of space. There are drop-down beds, which allow for more space in the room, although some guests have mentioned that even when the beds are down, there is plenty of space anyway.

    Helpful staff, good service

    The staff here is helpful and friendly. If a guest needs to have something printed, they can get an email address from the receptionist, send the material, and it will be printed and returned. Beach towels, mats and umbrellas are available from reception. There is a security guard at night.

    10 pm closing

    The reception closes at 10 pm and there is no one to Check-in guests after that, so anyone arriving later can't get Checked-in and must find somewhere else to stay for the night. And if guests get locked out after this time, there is a fine to pay to have someone let them in. Unfortunately, this is not clarified on the website.
