With 230 rooms overlooking the prime frontage across the horseshoe falls, it is follows that a large number of reviews mentioned that the spectacular view, was by far and away the most memorable aspect of their stay. Even those guests who stayed in the 'partial' falls view rooms rated the views as some of the best they had experienced.

Visitors and guests to this hotel are in agreement that its elevators where close to the slowest that they had ever encountered. Some guests reported at least a 10-minute wait for elevators regardless of the time of day and the number of guests seeking to use this amenty.

A number of guests mentioned the appalling state of the carpets in the rooms and in common areas. A number of guests were particularly distressed at the dirty and frayed appearance of carpets, whose glory days where long past.

Guest reported that they felt that there is a lack of overall value at this hotel. Notwithstanding that guests acknowledged that they were paying for a premium for views, some guests felt that the premium price was not evident in other areas of the hotel.
