Review summary

Summarized by AI from 90+ reviews

This hotel is a charming and peaceful retreat, ideal for couples and sightseers seeking a tranquil oasis with a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. Its prime location atop a mountain next to the Basilica di Sant'Ubaldo offers panoramic views of Gubbio and convenient access to the town center via the funicular. The most exciting feature is the on-site cable car, providing direct and scenic access to the city, eliminating the need for a car. Guests consistently praise the staff for their exceptional kindness and helpfulness, and the breakfast, while strong on sweet options and fresh cappuccinos, could benefit from more savory variety. For a quieter stay, choose a room facing the garden.
