Fern Grotto Inn invites you to enjoy the island as it used to be — lush, peaceful, and romantic. Our authentic old style plantation cottages boast island inspired furnishings and modern amenities for a luxurious and comfortable stay. You’ll also find plenty to love in our private garden. Stroll barefoot across the lawn and pluck mangoes, star fruits, oranges, mountain apples, etc. from trees weighted with fruits. It’s like having your own piece of paradise when you stay in our vacation rental cottages. Our Kauai cottages rentals are located in Kapaa town, on the east side of the island. We’re five miles from the airport, one block from the beach, and only a few minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. Spend a lazy afternoon paddling down the Wailua River in our Complimentary two-person Kayak, or take our “his and her” Bikes on a picnic to nearby Lydgate Beach.
