positive:
Welcoming staff
The staff at the hotel are friendly and approachable and go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. Check-in is quick and efficient and reception staff are happy to give advice on where to visit in the local area. It is a dog-friendly property so your pet can travel with you.
positive:
Extra touches
The first thing to mention is the
cool décor, lots of thought has gone into creating this hotel environment.
There is a pool, gym, pool table and games in the social area. Wi-FI is
super-fast and very reliable. Breakfast is often included with the room rate
and surpasses expectations. This property is environmentally aware and it also
gives you the option to skip a day’s maid service in return for a food and
beverage voucher.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Style over substance?
Although the décor is visually
pleasing the seats in the public area are not very comfortable and sound
proofing could be improved as noise travels. Many guests have reported that the
hotel corridors feel like a maze and it can be confusing trying to find your
room.
negative:
Middle of nowhere
There is very little in the
immediate vicinity and therefore it is not the type of place where you can just
go for a wander of the local area. Unless you are going to the university or to
the train station you would probably want to stay in the hotel. Some noise or
vibrations may be experienced from the regular trains that pass by.
negative:
Limited food choices
The hotel bar offers some food choices but the menu is limited and there is hardly anything nearby to use as an alternative.
