Review summary
Summarized by AI from 800+ reviews
This hotel is a vibrant urban hub catering to solo travelers, sightseers, and budget travelers alike. Its prime location directly opposite Waverley Station offers unparalleled access to Edinburgh's main attractions, including the Royal Mile and Old Town, often eliminating the need for public transport. The hotel's most exciting feature is its vibrant social atmosphere, fostered by organized events like pizza nights and art classes, perfect for meeting fellow travelers. Guests consistently praise the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, particularly the reception team, and the varied and good-value breakfast. For a quieter stay, guests should consider requesting a room not facing the street due to potential noise from train vibrations and pub music.
