Copacabana Beach Hotel (Acapulco, Mexico)

Guests love being having their own private access to the beach. Copacabana Beach Hotel is also close to all the main shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs in Acapulco, so you'll never be far from the action.

Guests adore the views over the bay- especially the lucky ones with Junior Suites and exceptional vantage points from their terraces.

The hotel's facilities may not be extraordinary, but when some guests consider the great deals they have obtained, they are pretty content with their lot.

Horrified, or even terrified, guests are amazed by what they see as unfriendly and disrespectful staff. Having a poor command of English and so many guests to deal with doesn't help either. However, the thing that irritates guests the most is the speed of the check-in. You are made to wait for ages - up to an hour and a half - which doesn't put you in a good holiday mood !

With 430 rooms, the hotel can get pretty busy - and noisy. In such periods, the pool, which is already small enough, can become severely over-crowded - with little sanctuary to be found on the busy beach either. To top it all off, you have to wait even longer for the already painfully slow elevators!

The Wi-Fi seems to be transmitted from the lobby to the rest of the hotel. You can image what it is like then on the 18th floor! Few guests seem to be able to connect from their rooms, except for a lucky few on the first floor. Connection only really seems possible around about the lobby - although it is pretty strong and reliable here by all accounts!
