Positive Reviews

A Charming Tropical Paradise

The town is quaint and full of fantastic upscale restaurants. Rooms are a good size and the view of the bay and expansive mountains are awesome. The beach is sandy white, stunning, and safe for swimming. There is also a beach bar where you can order meals. You can relax in the hammocks on the patio and fresh flowers await you in your room. The property is not luxurious, but it offers comfort and a wonderful location.

A Fresh Water Gesture

The resort offers filtered water, a container for water, and fresh ice cubes. It's just a nice gesture, especially if you are weary about drinking the water.

It's A Family Affair

Staff at the resort are very attentive and cordial. They offer good tips with directions and assist with setting up activities like snorkeling, fishing and diving. The staff really take care and make you feel like they appreciate your patronage.

Negative Reviews

More Care Is Needed

Unfortunately, the hotel décor is not very impressive, even though the staff do their best with what they have to work with. An upgrade is sorely needed and it appears nothing has been done since it opened. However, word has it that upgrades are in the cards and some rooms have already been completed.

It's A Hard, Hard Climb

Get ready for the more than one-hundred stairs you have to climb to get to the resort and enjoy the wonderful view. What's more, there's no way to avoid the steps if you want to go to the beach.

Reservations Get You Nowhere

It's tricky reserving a lounge chair. It's the usual game with someone leaving a towel or flip-flops on the chair and not returning for hours.
