Mauna Lani Point is a beach-front resort with an eighteen-hole golf course, lush green gardens and ocean views.

Accommodation is in the form of spacious self-catering condos of either one or two bedrooms. Each unit includes a full kitchen, private balcony/terrace and a washer and dryer. High speed internet access and flat screen televisions are also provided.

In addition to the golf course, Mauna Lani Point also features tennis courts and a fresh water swimming pool with adjacent grill and dining area. Services include a concierge, daily cleaning and a shuttle to move around within the resort. Guests additionally have access to a fitness centre, spa and the Mauna Lani Beach Club.

There is an upscale restaurant at the clubhouse as well as a beachfront bar and snack bar.

Hapuna Beach, the Shops at Mauna Lani Mall and Kalahuipua’a Historical Park are some places of interest in the area.

Beach club access for all guests

The charge for the villa includes access to Mauna Lani Beach Club which has excellent facilities such as a sheltered sandy beach and sun loungers among other amenities.

Private and peaceful but not isolated

The resort complex is gated and comprises stunning and well-kept grounds. The condos are nicely spaced out so you have your privacy but the rest of the resort and all the amenities near it are still a short walk or drive away.

Home-like environment

Mauna Lani Point suits short stays as well as long ones, given the space and facilities in the condo which allow you to do your own cooking and laundry and perhaps even entertain guests. It's very well suited to families and groups.

Negative Reviews

Reception is difficult to find

A number of guests have had trouble on arrival while trying to find the front office in order to check in, and the information provided beforehand about checking in has generally been basic. There are however numbers you can call and usually staff or other people around to ask for assistance.

Maintenance needs some improving

Some of the furniture and facilities particularly in the villas are quite dated and could certainly do with some maintenance, either replacement or repair. For example, many guests have not found the beds very comfortable and the sofa beds even less so.

Generally a great getaway

Overall, the pros outweigh the cons for Mauna Lani Point condos and the stunning views, abundance of space indoors and outside and the numerous amenities both on site and nearby are a hit with many guests.
