If you are looking for a total treat then The Westin Grand Vancouver Hotel and Resort is the place to be. You will be greeted by a breathtaking a Mountain View and cityscape of the treasured Vancouver aquarium, art gallery and Granville Island, all less that 10 km away.

Top notch location.

Being in the center of everything it is almost impossible, but not where staying at this establishment. Whether it is dining at a restaurant, shopping at the mall or enjoying some entertainment at a street theatre you will find it with ease in the surrounding area.

The good service in and around the rooms.

The hospitable staff is always friendly in their helpful approach. Further inhancing the sercive is the excellent in room facilities such as the multichannel television as well as the rooftop pools and hot tubs.

Negative Reviews

The rundown outdated beds.

Even with the amazing views, the décor is dull. The outdated beds and sofa beds are not only old but could also be cleaner. The furniture needs a little refurbishment and the air conditioners do not always work so you might find the room to be slightly too hot or cold at certain times.

Pricy parking and problematic Wi-Fi.

The parking area is extremely pricy which might lead guest to feel as though they are being unfairly charged for a basic service when visiting a hotel. Wi-Fi policies are also ridiculous with passwords that change every other hour. At time you will have a go with multiple attempts before successfully connecting.

Insufficient elevators for guests.

There are not enough elevators in the hotel which means guest will have to wait for up to 4 minutes for elevators to take them where they want to go, it gets even worse when it's busy. They are often closed down for repairs and this tends to cause inconveniences.
