Excellent Staff

Great Restaurant

Guests who ate breakfast at the restaurant left very favorable reviews about the very tasty food. Other guests who dined in the evening were also pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful menu and deliscious food.

Awesome Shuttle Service

The shuttle service will take you anywhere that you want to go within about a 10 minute radius from the hotel and this includes to the famous River Walk. Many guests who used this service would highly recommend parking and leaving the car and jumping on the shuttle to enjoy a few beverages out and about in San Antonio.

Negative Reviews

Stains and Dirt

Some guests found the state of their rooms a little under whelming, coming across mold in bathrooms, unpleasant musty smells and stains on furniture, carpet and on some linens. These guest would not stay again as this was not what they expected from a Doubletree.

Fees for Extra Amenities

Some previous guests to the hotel commented that they were a little taken aback that they had to pay for additional amenities such as parking and the use of a refrigerator as they felt that these costs should have been included in the room tariff.

No Free Wi-Fi

Some guests were disappointed that the Doubletree charged to access Wi-Fi. These guests expressed their frustration that in this day and age where Wi-Fi is free in public spaces throughout modern cities, that it baffles them why they are paying for a service in an upscale hotel particularly in this price point.
