Fabulous Location Close to Many Attractions

Within only a ten-minute walk, guests can be in the centre of it all in an area where there are restaurants, pubs, shops and a beach. The views around the area are amazing too.

Delicious and Varied Meals

The meals at BelleVue Aquarius are made from fresh ingredients and are well-made and well-presented. The food is plentiful, everyday something different is served and there is much to choose from including hot and cold drinks, salads, fruit and desserts.

Comfortable Rooms with Excellent Facilities

The rooms are warm and welcoming with tasteful decor and furnishings. Also reported was comfortable beds, large and luxurious showers, tons of storage space, Wi-Fi that always works and all the facilities and amenities needed for an enjoyable stay.

Negative Reviews

Guest Rooms are Damp and Uncomfortable

The guest rooms at BelleVue Aquarius are damp and cold with mould in some areas and a musty smell due to malfunctioning heaters. Guests also reported uncomfortable beds, blankets with burns in them, furniture that is old and tattered, stained furniture, broken taps and a lack of hot water.

Staff is Unfriendly and Unhelpful

Upon arrival at the hotel, guests claimed they received a cold welcome from the reception staff. They simply do what they have to do and send guests off without another word. Guests also reported that when they asked to be moved to another room because they were unhappy with their current one, they received a firm no and that when complaints were made, nothing was done to correct the problem and much of the staff was unapproachable.

Poor-quality Food and Service in the Restaurant

Guests reported that the food isn't very tasty and it's poor-quality, overly-processed packaged items. Also reported was rude and rushed staff who don't put any effort into their job nor do they seem to care about guests and their individual requests.
