Positive Reviews

Surprisingly quiet for such a busy location

A hotel located in services should have a lot of noise, but you should be able to get a great night’s sleep The hotel is set back from the main services area, and the greenery around it makes it a nice location.

Very cheerful staff

A few of the staff don’t have great English, but they are very friendly Every time you walk past the reception area they’ll say hello Even the cleaning staff are polite, something you don’t find in every hotel.

A great location for a trip to Bristol

This hotel is a much cheaper option than city centre hotels and its proximity to the motorway makes it a great base for visiting Bristol City Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is also quite close and a great place for the kids to visit.

Negative Reviews

Outdated décor lets the side down

The staff are pleasant, but this doesn’t make up for the condition of the hotel Many of the fittings are worn, and the rooms have keys rather than key cards You get what you pay for so if you’re on a budget it’s not a bad option.

Badly designed bathroom

Not too many complaints about this hotel other than the bathroom The toilet is poorly placed, and a little uncomfortable to sit on and the bath is a bit small The staff are helpful and may allow you to change rooms, but the new room may be the same.

Sofa bed in poor condition

Some rooms have a sofa bed that children can sleep on, but guest have questioned its condition It is creaky and uncomfortable to sleep on The sofa covers are a little the worse for wear too and should be replaced.
