Best of both worlds

Guests who've stayed here love the location. Not only is the hotel itself set in beautiful grounds close to the beach, but it's also close to "5th Avenue" - an area of shops, restaurants, bars and activities. If you choose to stay at the Playacar Palace, you won't be short of things to do.

Negative Reviews

Some rooms noisier than others

Some guests have commented that their rooms which overlooked the pool and entertainment areas could be subject to a substantial level of noise at certain times of day and evening. Guests requiring a quiet room may wish to request this upon booking.

Not a huge variety of food

A handful of guests have been disappointed with the range of food served at the buffet. Although the quality of food is generally good, guests feel that a wider variety of options would have improved their dining experience.

Don't leave it too late

A variety of spa treatments and excursions can be booked using the credit scheme at the hotel. Some guests found that they left it too late to make their reservations and therefore were disappointed, so it's recommended that these experiences are booked sooner rather than later.
