Positive Reviews

Central location close to the sights

Considering that the hotel is so close to the Louvre, it came as no surprise that guests rated its location as their favourite feature. But it wasn’t only the Louvre that was close by, guests also reported being able to easily walk to many other attractions. They also enjoyed being surrounded by the cafes and shops that had been a major a major factor that drew them to Paris in the first place.

Peaceful and quiet

Considering its very central location, guests were amazed to be able to report that their rooms were actually havens of peace and quiet.

Very comfortable beds

Guests were pleased to be able to report that the beds met or exceeded their expectations of a hotel bed by being luxuriously comfortable.

Negative Reviews

No lift in the building

Guests warned that there is no lift in the building, and that there were quite a few floors. As a result, those allocated rooms on the upper floors had long walks up and down each time they went on an excursion.

Very small rooms

Even as guests were commenting that the rooms here were very small, they clearly had in the back of their mind that this was to be expected - based on the city’s notorious reputation for small hotel rooms. In any event, the reputation was confirmed at this hotel.

Difficult to find initially

Guests reported that this hotel took up only a small portion of a much larger building. While there were said to be signs at street level indicating its presence, these were not obvious, and so very easy to miss.
