Well maintained.

Guests said that, while older, this hotel was very well kept. Most were able to overlook the somewhat dated decor and instead focused on the clean condition of accommodation and the fact that everything was in working order.

Nice location.

What seemed like a secluded location turned out to be in close proximity to everywhere that guests wanted to be. Easy access to the beach and downtown were high on the list of reasons why guests would return.

Excellent pool area.

A refreshing dip in the well maintained swimming pool was the icing on the cake for many guests. Both the pool and hot tub were a pleasant place to spend an hour or two, and guests had no complaints about this much appreciated amenity.

Negative Reviews

Noisy at times.

Although guests loved that the pool and hot tub were open until late, they weren't as happy about the noise this sometimes caused. There are also several spots on the property for guests to sit and relax, which was often a problem for guests who weren't staying up late. And if you are a light sleeper, be warned that trains frequently pass by.

Inconvenient parking.

A designated parking spot would have been a nice touch, according to guests who often had trouble parking their cars. If you plan on arriving late, parking could be a challenge.

No saggy mattresses here.

Mattresses were described as being on the firm side. While this could be a good thing for those that like to steer clear of softer beds, several guests felt that mattresses were just too hard.
