Picturesque yet convenient location.

The guest house is tucked away in a quiet residential area and surrounded by its own private gardens which provide a very scenic and tranquil backdrop. Guests enjoyed the fact that they were able to enjoy peaceful evenings but also appreciated being a short walk away from the centre of town with its numerous shops, bars and restaurants.

Pleasant places to relax and socialise.

During their free time guests enjoyed sitting out on the veranda whilst admiring the pleasant views whilst others said that they found it very relaxing spending time in the well- maintained private garden. The elegant lounge with its cosy open fire also proved popular with many who appreciated being able to socialise with fellow occupants whilst enjoying the complimentary afternoon refreshments.

Friendly and accommodating hosts.

Guests said that they felt relaxed and well-looked after during their stay and expressed their gratitude towards their host who they described as friendly and courteous. Many appreciated  the helpful tips and advice offered by the owner with regards to the local area and added that all their queries and requests were handled swiftly and effectively.

Negative Reviews

Basic room amenities.

Guests objected to the lack of certain amenities in their rooms, namely televisions as well as tea and coffee making facilities which they said would have made their stay more comfortable and enjoyable.

Issues with air-conditioning.

Quite a few guests mentioned that the air-conditioning units were rather dated and inadequate when it came to cooling down their rooms. The units were also said to be rather loud which meant that guests were reluctant to switch them on at night.

Parking problems.

There are only a limited amount of parking spaces available on the premises and some guests said that on occasions they were unable to find a free spot.
