Coral Sands Resort are self-catering condominiums located off Route 278 in the heart of Hilton Head Island.

Two and three bedroom condominiums feature fully equipped
kitchens. Washer/dryer, air conditioning and flat screen TVs with DVD player
are a plus. Free Wi-Fi and private balconies are welcome amenities.

Coral Sands Resort features a fitness centre and free on-site
parking. Outdoor pools and business centre are a plus. Concierge and bike
rentals are also provided.

Sand Bar is a poolside snack bar which features light bites and alcohol. The Jazz Corner, located nearby, offers American fare and features live music, seafood and full-service bar. Ombra Cucina Rustica, also nearby, offers Italian cuisine and features full-service bar.

You can walk to Ocean Beach and Coligny Shopping Plaza.
Coligny Beach, Van Der Meer Shipyard and Royal Point Golf Course are close at
hand. Hilton Head Island Bike Trails and
Sea Pines Forest Preserve are a short drive away.

Location, location, location

Guests liked the fact that these condominiums are located within walking distance of the beach as well as several restaurants, bars, a grocery store and local shops. Most of the other popular tourist attractions which pepper this area are just a short drive away which was also appreiated.

The condos are spacious and well equipped

These condominiums are spacious which makes it comfortable for large groups. Lots of amenities like a washer/dryer, TVs in the bedrooms and living room and private balconies added a measure of relaxation for guests.

A good family hotel

Those travelling with their families found that this was a good place to hang their hats. They enjoyed the fact that these condominiums have plenty of room for everyone and there are lots of kid friendly spots to explore nearby. The large outdoor pools and Lazy River area offered fun in the sun for the whole family which was something highly remarked upon, and guests appreciated the fully equipped kitchens.

Negative Reviews

The condos need TLC

The carpeting in some of the units is in need of a deep cleaning or replacement. Furnishings in need of repair, doors that don't always lock and beds that have seen better days were issues that bothered guests during their stay.

The older units do not have a lift

Although most of the units here are new and do provide lift service, some of the older units do not offer this feature which proved problematic for those with limited mobility.

The walls are thin

The walls and ceilings in these condos are not well insulated which means that many guests were disturbed by noise from the suites above them and on either side of them which kept them awake at night.
