The breakfast served in El Colonial is among the best in the city. It consists of scrambled eggs, fried dishes, fresh fruit, and cheese - a great selection which satisfies almost everyone. Also the service in the restaurant is exceptional and efficient.

Negative Reviews

Front rooms may experience some noise.

The hotel is located in the city’s downtown area. This means that noise can easily enter into the rooms, especially those rooms by the street. To avoid this problem, guests may choose to be housed in rooms farthest from the front.

Slow Wi-Fi access.

Those guests who have important matters to attend to online may find it difficult to do so, especially because the Internet connection cannot be trusted. Also, those guests who constantly need to update their social media accounts might have a hard time.

Lack of English TV channels could be discouraging.

The TV channels available are Spanish only. English-speaking guests might not be able to enjoy the satellite TV. However, when you are in Havana, the last thing you would want to do is to stay in your room and watch TV when there are a lot of activities w
