Positive Reviews

Friendly and accommodating personnel

One of the best feedback from previous guests is that the personnel are very friendly and professional. Guests felt very comfortable during their stay, especially with the accommodating staff always ready to fulfil their requests.

Delightful free parking!

Many guests were pleasantly surprised by the huge parking space available for free on-site. Guests who travelled with their own cars were able to sleep soundly at night, knowing that their vehicles were safe and secured during their entire stay.

Walking distance to attractions & dining areas

The hotel is located at a nice spot in Halifax’s downtown area, which allowed guests to be just a walking distance from a wide array of lively restaurants and pubs. Moreover, guests are also able to make the most out of their stay, as they don’t have to spend hours in travelling to and from different attractions.

Negative Reviews

Substandard continental breakfast

Many guests were disappointed with the breakfast served in the B&B. Most were expecting an extensive buffet, only to find that some of the foods were not very hot and tasty. There was also an apparent lack of food options on-site according to guests.

Noisy air conditioning units

It gets very cold or very humid in Halifax, and turning on the air conditioner is a must. However, previous guests had a hard time sleeping because the room’s air conditioner was very loud. This was particularly uncomfortable for those who were very sensitive to noise.

Beds and rooms are narrow

Many of the guests, especially those who are used to staying in spacious rooms expressed that the quarters are too small while beds are too narrow for them. Some guests even felt like there was not enough space for them to store their luggage properly.
