Easily-accessible location in Halifax

The hotel is only a few steps away from the main highway, convenient for travellers who are on-the-go, and yet far enough to hear the noise from passing cars. Guests also noted that the property is close to the airport and some top-rated restaurants.

Generally clean and equipped rooms

There were no negative reviews about the state of cleanliness of the rooms. Housekeepers did a great job in maintaining the quarters day in and day out. Many guests also observed that the entire establishment was just recently renovated.

Well-performing staff

Staff members seem to love doing their job according to most guests. They were always seen smiling and with a happy, cheerful aura. They were courteous to guests, and they always made it a point to make them feel welcomed.

Negative Reviews

Tight breakfast area

Although the foods served during breakfast were good, the experience was less than satisfactory according to guests because the breakfast area was very small. The area could be very cramped and tight, especially with the many guests who wanted to take advantage of the free meal.

Issues with ants

While rooms were generally clean, a number of previous guests reported that they have seen ants crawling at the walls and on the corner of the rooms. Others noted that there were ants near the bed. This may not seem like a big issue, but many guests still felt that there shouldn't be some kind of insect inside their quarters.

Problematic parking

Even though there are many parking spots, many guests still said that the parking is problematic because the entrance and exit to the facility are tricky. The parking gets extra difficult when it snows and the cars are stuck in the parking lot.
