Most guests of this property have been fond of its location. The inn sits on the outskirts of downtown Halifax, but it just a short walk away. This allowed guests to walk into town each morning while spending time in a residential neighbourhood.

In a heritage building

Many guests have liked the fact that this inn is located in a Victorian era building. As a result, the property has character and charm that you wouldn't find at a chain hotel. Guests have liked feeling as though they are experiencing something different by staying there.

Clean and comfortable

Very basic breakfast

Multiple guests have said that the breakfast offerings at this property are quite limited and there isn't much more than cereals, breads, and carbohydrates. Guests would have appreciated having access to more selection at breakfast.

Loud at night

There have been complaints about the rooms that face the main road being loud at night. In particular, the room at is on the ground floor experiences a fair amount of noise from traffic on the road and neighbours coming and going.
