Positive Reviews

Convenient in every way

If you are coming in from the South on the N18, it's a breeze to find this little lodge, and there's one thing you can certain of is that you won't struggle to find a parking spot close by. If you are up to it, the centre of town is only a ten-minute walk from the property.

Owners are a wealth of information

Once you have settled in, if you are new to the area you should feel free to have a friendly chat with the owners of the property about the quiet neighbourhood and the interesting local attractions. Most guests found them very knowledgeable and up to date.

Clean and spacious

Visitors found the rooms to be airy, bright and spacious. Beds were extra comfortable with freshly laundered linens, and the well-appointed rooms offered guests a lovely modern bathroom with specialty vanities.

Negative Reviews

Shouldn't have to pay for breakfast

If this were a hotel, guests said they would understand the extra cost associated with the breakfast, but since this is a bed and breakfast , most visitors felt the breakfast should have been included in the room price.

Quite pricy

Many travellers pointed out that the room prices were on the expensive side for a bed and breakfast establishment, and felt they were more in line with the cost of a hotel. Nonetheless, by the end of the stay most guests said their overall experience was enjoyable.

Such tiny bathrooms

For those visitors who get rather claustrophobic, this may be one of those occasions. Bathrooms were found to be exceptionally small and cramped, so make sure you don't bump your head coming out of the shower.
