Positive Reviews

Suitable as a place to crash

Garvey's Inn works really well when you're not looking for much more than a bed, a private loo, and a place where you can conveniently grab something to eat. It's reasonably priced for no frills accommodations, clean, and maintained during your stay.

Perfect location for sightseeing by public transit

You can easily explore the city and surrounding region when staying here. Buses and trains are close by, and the inn serves as a perfect base for seeing a great amount of local culture and attractions.

Decent food and nice staff

Staff are friendly and attentive, and also a nice source for finding out what's going on or what's of best interest to see or do. They're also welcoming faces and personalities to help make this a comfy stay. Food is decent pub fare, reliable standard dis

Negative Reviews

Very poor Wi-Fi signal

Wi-Fi isn't very great here, so be prepared to lose your signal, or possibly not even get one. Reception at times is strongest in the pub itself, so keep this in mind if your room doesn't pick much up.

Tiny rooms that pick up a lot of noise

Anyone expecting more than what the inn looks like upfront will most likely be disappointed. Rooms are quite small and not made well for stretching out and laying luggage and belongings about. The noise does indeed filter right up and through from the pub

No formal reception area

Check-in and check-out are through the pub, which annoys some guests. Depending upon how busy it is, you may have to stand around, with your luggage to get or return a key.
