Resort Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica (Runaway Bay, Jamaica)

There are so many restaurants and pools onsite, including two pool bars which are staffed constantly, that guests could eat at a different restaurant every night without getting bored. There are choices from high-end steak and Italian to casual snack bars. The food choices at each will also give guests a lot to consider without feeling like you're eating the same thing over and over.

This resort is very popular with repeat business for lengthy vacations and for those getting married. There is so much onsite that guests never have to leave. Everything is included with the "all-inclusive" option and guests will have plenty to try with the large variety of restaurants as well as all the amenities and entertainment and recreation opportunities, like scuba, kayak, and paddle boards.

There is a wonderful beach area just outside. The water is shallow, clean, and easily swimmable. The sand is white and gorgeous. The beach isn't overly crowded and there are plenty of loungers and some even lie in the shade.

You will only get a limited amount of towels for the beach and for bath use during your entire stay. If you want more, you will have to go to the trouble of trading them in yourself and no extra will be given.

The resort complex is so huge that there is no real personal attempt made at customer service. There are large crowds around the entire complex and a herd mentality exists of just moving the group from one location and event to another. The heavy emphasis on time-shares is unpleasant.

There are no nearby restaurants and very few in the whole town of Runaway Bay. The food at the resort is bland and obviously made to feed large crowds. There are few drink choices other than beer or wine.
