Rebak Island Resort & Marina, Langkawi (Kuah, Malaysia)

Rebak Island Resort has its own private beach, spa and boardwalk with spectacular ocean views. There's a private marina, dock and a relaxing Ulik Mayang Spa with an ocean-facing cabana where you can get pampered. There are fitness facilities on site that include bicycles and kayaks. The tour desk will help you arrange trips along the secluded island. The rooms too are luxurious with deep soaking tubs, beautiful wood flooring and separate bathroom and shower area in the bathrooms. You can see the sunrise over the water from your room.

You'd be surprised at the variety of the cuisine in this island resort. The seafood is one of a kind, caught fresh in front of you and cooked to perfection, ranging from fresh sea bass to snapper, prawns and lobster. The Senari Restaurant has a variety of Asian and Western foods as well as full vegetarian courses.

It feels exclusive when you have to take a private ferry at the jetty in Cenang Port to the island and get one-on-one assistance right away. The trip takes only five minutes to get to the island and then the staff there will whisk you away in an old fashioned, meticulously maintained buggy to the hotel.

The hotel is not recommended for staying more than three days because it is a small island with minimum activities.

There are restrictive jetty timings as the last jetty to the resort from Langkawi is at 7.45 p.m.

You have to be on the mainland at Port Cenang to get to Cenang Beach and its bars and shops in Langkawi.
