The family run establishment has very friendly and welcoming hosts who are happy to offer local information and guidance. The breakfast receives good reviews as does the all day kitchen that is available for guest use.

Though the Toronto Garden Inn is located in a quiet and lovely street, it is within easy walking distance of several noteworthy attractions of the city. The neighbourhood is very good and there are some good shopping and eating out options close by.

Shared bathrooms
Several guests who were not familiar with the bed and breakfast concept had problems with features such as shared bathrooms and shared common areas. Some guests felt it was rather odd to be ‘sharing' the house with the owners and other guests.

Rooms are variable
While some rooms are fairly spacious, one or two guests described the rooms at the rear as ‘pokey'. Some guests felt that the interiors of the B&B were rather dark and had a worn feeling. Some guests also missed having a lift in the B&B.

Several guests found that finding parking around the area was a problem. Either there was no parking or guests needed to park quite far away. Some guests mentioned that the owners had sent them parking permits beforehand.
