Numerous guests have been impressed by the downtown location of this property. Guests liked being able to walk to the waterfront and many other locations throughout Charlottetown, as it made it possible for guests to explore the city without a vehicle.
This property sits on Canada's oldest street and in a historic building and guests enjoyed the historical aspect of their stays. The property features Victorian area decor, as well, giving guests something completely different from what they would experience at a typical chain hotel.
Most guests have been quite fond of the staff at this property, saying that the customer service was outstanding throughout their time there. Guests have reported that staff members are warm, friendly, and helpful at this hotel.
There have been complaints about the breakfast situation at this property. Rather than a breakfast room, guests pick up their food on a tray and then eat at tables in the lobby. There isn't much space, however, so many guests have been unable to find anywhere to sit when the hotel is busy.
