Situated about an hour from Milwaukee and 90 minutes from Chicago, The French Country Inn is a quaint, historic hotel located just off Highway 50 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Intimate accommodations overlooking Lake Como along with nice touches are what guests can expect during their stay. Each of the 33 rooms feature serene interiors with simple furnishings and a calm colour palette. All have TVs and either a balcony or patio overlooking the lake, while some feature fireplaces, whirlpools and ceiling fans. The French Country Inn features manicured grounds, an outdoor pool and a space called the 1880s room that has an oak staircase and floors that were showcased in the 1893 Columbian exposition World’s Fair. Mornings begin with a complimentary breakfast served in an inviting dining room. The property is close to shopping and attractions such as the Tristan Crist Magic Theatre and the Geneva Lake shore path.
