Several guests have fondly described Pointe Estero Beach Resort as a real gem by the beach. Though the hotel was built in the 80s, it's been very well maintained and does not show its age. Guests love the fact that they can sit in the balconies and enjoy spectacular views of the gulf.
The resort features condos that are large, spacious and tastefully decorated. Guests have reported that the condos are very comfortable with a nice homely touch. Guests love the renovated walk-in showers which they feel are way better than the previous Jacuzzis.
The staff here is very friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Staff members go over and above what is required of them by the call of duty in a bid to ensure guests enjoy their stays.
Pointe Estero Beach Resort provides gulf view penthouses for guests who would like to enjoy exceptional views of the gulf. Guests who have stayed in some of the penthouses, unfortunately, have reported that they are crummy with tiny living rooms and outmoded furniture, certainly not up to the high standards in the rest of the resort.
Guests who have been visiting the resort over the years have reported that it's progressively going downhill. The beautiful wraparound gulf-front rooms, one of the resort's key features, are beginning to show signs of wear and tear while the hotel's serene ambiance seems to be slowly fading away.
The hotel is currently undertaking major renovations in the bathrooms which has unfortunately become a major source of noise and disturbance.
