A variety of excursions are available, including visits to the Varadero Museum and the Punta de Hicacos National Park. A variety of scuba diving packages are also available.
Guests who've stayed here like that they are able to use the facilities at another nearby hotel. This meant double the choice for bars, restaurants and swimming pools. Guests felt that this variety of amenities would entice them to return.
Service with a smile
Staff here are said to be friendly, helpful and personable. Service is always with a smile, and nothing seems to be too much trouble. The front desk staff in particular have been described as being welcoming and efficient.
Beautiful beach is a hit
Guests love the beach here. Golden sand and turquoise water shows why Cuba is renowned for it's beautiful shores. Guests can partake in a variety of water sports under the watch of a lifeguard, including snorkelling and diving.
Guests have complained that the air conditioning in this hotel is inefficient and unreliable - these guests mentioned the dining room in particular as being very hot and stuffy. This has been fed back to hotel management.
The decor here is said to be outdated and in need of updating. Guests also noticed that furniture was old and worn. These guests felt like modernisations would bring this hotel in line with other accommodations in the area.
Guests feel that food in the main buffet restaurant is bland to taste, and lacks variety. Some guests commented that the same dishes were served day in, day out. Guests were disappointed that there is a twice a week limit to eat in the a la carte restaurants, with some of these guests choosing to eat outside of the hotel, despite staying on an all-inclusive board basis.
