The hotel also features an indoor promenade which connects the hotel to food court and shops as well as to the subway system. Guests visiting during the colder months found this particularly convenient.
Centrally located, the Intercontinental is a 12-minute walk from the center of Old Montréal and within walking distance of many of Montreal's popular attractions as well as to a choice of cafes, restaurants and bars. The closest metro station, along with the Montreal Convention Centre, are a two-minute walk away.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and decorated with modern decor and elegant furnishings. The beds as well as the pillows are comfortable and the bathrooms are marble tiled bathrooms are also spacious and well lit. Rooms feature floor to ceiling windows, some of which offer views of Old Montreal.
