The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess appears to attract a high proportion of regular guests who return as they find its grounds and facilities more than acceptable. The staff come in for warm appreciation of their friendliness and professionalism, particularly so in the Gold program locations. .
The restaurants are of a very high standard, and the health spa and swimming pools are all very well liked by guests. Those who experienced the massages at the spa found them truly amazing and invigorating. Rooms are of a good size, equipped with very comfortable beds, and extremely well presented. On the few occasions when there were problems arising regarding rooms or bathrooms they were immediately resolved by the staff. .
The five restaurants mean that there is a very great choice of high class cuisine available. Guests appreciated the provision of free coffee and soft drinks in the lobby area. .
Guests felt that the prices here are unjustifiably high, including in the restaurants which were thought by some to be very average. The breakfast was found to be very limited. The waiting staff in the restaurant and at the poolside were slow. .
Guests did not appreciate having to share a swimming pool with ducks. It was felt that this location is at its best for golfers and those attending conferences. A member of the President's Club was not impressed by the staff. .
Some found the beds very uncomfortable, and thought the coffee machine in the guest room was not good at all, they resolved not to return to the hotel.
