This Hilton is conveniently located in close proximity to both Newark International Airport and Newark Penn Station from which guests can easily access the center of Manhattan via Penn Station or the World Trade Center. Guests can utilise these public transport links to arrive in Manhattan in a fifteen-to-twenty-minute timeframe and from there they will be able to explore numerous New York attractions such as Times Square and Madison Square Garden, both of which are near Manhattan's Penn Station. However, guests do not have to travel to central Manhattan for entertainment as there is a wide selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

The staff are extremely friendly and personable, ensuring that guests feel welcome upon arrival; they strive to provide great customer service, providing tourist/ticket assistance and responding to any queries or requests guests may have about the area or the hotel itself.

Guests found that the hotel was very good value for money, especially considering the hotel's New York location. The room prices are considerably affordable when viewing the hotel's proximity to Newark Penn Station and the short amount of time it takes guests to travel to Manhattan. The facilities and complimentary amenities, such as the free high-speed Wi-Fi also ensure that this hotel is good value.

The hotel's lobby area and the furnishings were found by some guests to be in need of renovation or a modern makeover; some guests felt that the décor was dated and would benefit from being replaced by a more contemporary design.
