The hotel is surrounded by its own extensive private grounds which feature a Spanish-inspired courtyard where many guests enjoyed having their breakfasts and also evening drinks. The pool area was also said to be pleasant with lots of sun loungers and surrounded by nice colorful plants. .
Guests were pleased to find that they were within walking distance of many of the local shops, cafes and restaurants and that the beach was also just a short stroll away from the hotel. If you like the idea of exploring all the local attractions on foot then you certainly won't be disappointed. .
The front-desk staff were described as very warm and friendly and made the guests feel welcome upon their arrival. Those who approached the staff with issues and requests said that they were handled swiftly and effectively. .
There are no parking spaces outside of the hotel which inconvenienced some guests who had to drive several blocks away in order to find a parking space. Although many managed to park at the metres they objected having to walk quite a bit from their vehicles to the hotel building. .
Some guests said that their rooms looked rather tired and dated and objected to the worn and tatty looking carpets. If you are looking for ultra-modern decor with all the mod-cons then it's advisable to look elsewhere.
Those whose rooms looked out onto the main courtyard said that they could hear noise from the restaurant below which they described as quite intrusive. The courtyard is often busy and guests said that the level of noise was quite high during the day as well as in the evenings. .
