Coast Victoria Hotel & Marina by APA (Victoria, Canada)

This harbor front hotel is well placed for walking to many of the city's attractions. Fisherman's Wharf Park is a 2-minute walk away and the British Columbia Parliament Buildings can be reached within 10-minutes' walk. Many cafes, pubs and restaurants are also within easy walking distance of the hotel. For those whole like to see the sites by bike, there is a bicycle rental outlet close by. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service into the city center.

Many guests found the rooms to be clean and beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and modern furniture. The on site restaurants provides delicious meals at reasonable prices. All rooms features a private balcony where guests enjoyed views of the city, ocean and mountains. Both the indoor and outdoor pool areas were clean, heated and well presented.

The staff have been described as friendly, courteous, helpful, accommodating and professional. The restaurant staff were also found to be attentive and provided a friendly and efficient service.

Some guests complained that the carpets in the corridors as well as in the guest rooms were dirty and stained. Guests recommended that you don't walk around barefoot in your room. The bathrooms are not always cleaned thoroughly according to some guests.

Some guests found the parking to be expensive, particularly as spaces were not always easy to find as restaurant guests not staying at the hotel were also able to use the facilities.

Some guests felt that the hotel was showing signs of age and could do with being updated in parts, including both common and private areas.
