There are 196 one, two and three bedroom condos located in ten low rise buildings arranged around a central garden. Some have partial ocean views. Condos have full kitchens, cable TV, a/c, high speed Internet and private lanai. The Castle Kamaole Sands resort has an outdoor pool, kiddies pool, fitness center and two jet spas. There are eight barbecues and four tennis courts. The resort has concierge services and banking/ATM facilities. The resort is located within 15 acres of tropical gardens. Guests can get their own meals at the condo kitchen or step out for a meal. The resort is located on Kamaole Beach Park III. The Wailea Beach and Keawakapu Beach are within easy driving distance. The golf courses of Wailea are about three miles away.

The kitchen is well stocked, and beach toys and basic snorkel equipment are also provided.
The location of the resort has received great guest reviews. The resort is right across from Kamaole Beach Park III and is set amidst 15 acres of tropical gardens. Groceries are available close by and there is a gas station nearby as well. Several other beaches, great shopping options in Maui and the championship golf courses of Wailea are within easy driving distance.
There are sporting activities and the beach fun for guests to enjoy. Plus there is Mai Tai Wednesday which many guests said they greatly enjoyed.
Several guests have spoken about the lack of an a/c in the bedrooms which makes it very hot for guests at Castle Kamaole Sands. Some guests have complained about the installed air conditioners not working properly and just blowing warm air.
Apartments are not cleaned everyday say guests. They are cleaned every fourth day.
