Positive Reviews

A quiet location yet close to attractions.

The inn is far enough away from the hustle bustle which meant that guests were able to enjoy peaceful and tranquil evenings. Many said that the location was ideal for exploring Charlottetown as many of the attractions as well as the local bars and restaurants are all within walking distance of the inn.

Perfect mix of old and new.

Guests enjoyed the numerous antiques and nautical artefacts scattered throughout the premises as well as finding out about the building's rich historical past. Many said they felt like they were staying in museum yet were pleased to have all the necessary modern amenities which ensured a comfortable stay.

Tasty and hearty breakfasts.

The breakfasts left a lasting impression on many as they comprised three course meals which guests said were cooked to perfection and made from quality produce. The portions were said to ample and guests enjoyed sampling something new every day. If you like to start your day with a hearty meal then you certainly won't be disappointed.

Negative Reviews

Issues with air-conditioning.

The air-conditioning units have been described as being rather noisy when switched on which prevented quite a few guests from using them at night as they said that the units interfered with sleep.

Communal areas too warm.

The on-site dining room is not air-conditioned much to the disappointment of some of the guests who said that they felt uncomfortably warm and stuffy whilst having their breakfasts.

Minor annoyances detract from enjoyable stay.

Guests who stayed in the basement suite objected to not having a view from their windows and also said that the Wi-Fi signal was rather weak. Quite a few guests mentioned that they would have liked to have had tea and coffee making facilities in their rooms.
