About Hotel Artemis

Once a 1950s convent, Hotel Artemis offers bright and open rooms three minutes from the beach, and ten minutes to Cefalù town centre. This hotel features free parking and breakfast.

All 40 rooms are soundproofed and equipped with air-conditioning, a safety deposit box, LCD TV, and desk. Unwind in the luxurious whirlpool bathtub found in suites, or on the terrace after a busy day of sightseeing.

Pleasant stay.

Given the opportunity, many guests said that they would return to Artemis. Nicely designed contemporary rooms were a welcome sight for many, and guests thought that this hotel provided great value. When you add in the fact that housekeeping was top notch, and many extras were included in the room price, all that's left to do is unpack and have a great vacation.

Nicely appointed suites.

Guests who booked a suite were treated to a very spacious room, with an equally ample bathroom. Guests were also impressed with the large bathtub, complete with upscale shower head and great water pressure. If you are looking for a bit of luxury, the extra cost might be worth it.

Close to everything.

With the train station just around the corner, and main attractions like Santuario Gibilmanna, and Lavatoio Medievale in close proximity, guests had no complaints about the location of Artemis. As an added bonus, guests said that this hotel was very quiet.

Negative Reviews

Breakfast not for everyone.

Many guests were satisfied with the breakfast that was included in their room rate. However, some guests weren't as happy with the morning meal that sometimes seemed rushed, with staff clearing items away before guests had finished. You might want to get to breakfast early to avoid disappointment, as some guests also noticed that food could run out quickly.

Free parking farther away.

Parking at the hotel was available for a fee, but the free advertised parking was actually a short walk away. This inconvenienced some guests who were expecting to transport luggage directly from their cars to the hotel, without an extra trip.

Mixed reviews for staff.

Staff were found to be brusque at times, and guests were met with unfriendly customer service on a few occasions. Some guests felt that there was a language barrier, while others thought that certain staff had just gotten up on the wrong side of the bed.
