Positive Reviews

Beautiful House with Stunning Views

This is a charming guest house, just a two-minute ride to the main part of town, offering impressive views and outstanding nearby walking/cycling paths. A superb base from which to explore the Trossachs and Stirling. The breakfast is hearty, served up family-style around a large table, and made to order (vegetarian or other special orders are no problem) and there are plenty of places for lunch and dinner within walking distance as well. The guest lounge is a pleasant spot to end the day's adventures.

Spacious, Well-Equipped Rooms

Rooms are large with outstanding views of the scenic mountain environs.

Hospitable Hosts

The owners are a delight from arrival to departure. Nothing is too much trouble, so feel free to ask them for their suggestions on the area or if you need help with reservations - they won't mind a bit! (Helpful Hint: if you like to walk, ask for directions to the waterfall)

Negative Reviews

Dim Exterior Lighting

If you're arriving at night, you may wish to bring a flash light. Exterior lighting is not the brightest.

Woeful Wi-Fi

The free Wi-Fi definitely doesn't reach all the areas of the house, and the owners will advise you accordingly. Most found a strong connection in the sitting room, but not always in their private rooms. Likely a small issue, but inquire at time of booking if this is essential to your stay.

A Few Foibles

You may find a tired piece or two in your room's decor, and the bathrooms are not always thoroughly scrubbed. If you see an issue worth reporting, do contact the owners. They will quite certainly correct the problem as efficiently as possible.
