Positive Reviews

A Callander date!!

Friendly owners appreciate that you are new to the area and can’t wait to find out your specific interests and to point you in the right direction.

A wonderfully attractive B+B

That feeling of quality meets you as you step through the door Rooms are comfortable and the dining room and lounge are equally appealing. It’s a perfect base from which to explore Rob Roy country and beyond.

Easy access to a relaxing break

They seem miles away, but, actually, you can get here very easily from Glasgow, Edinburgh and of course, Sterling.

Negative Reviews

Let's view the little picture!

Presumably, they’ll get round to this, but the ‘telly’ in the room is quite small and must have been installed when this Victorian B+B was built! *Sadly, though, the programmes are just the same as on the newer TV sets!

Small and noisy rooms

Some rooms are tiny and consequently overpriced. If you draw the short straw twice, you’ll also be above the kitchen where work, conversation and re-arranging crockery, starts very early in the morning.

Dated breakfast policy

Who on earth, these days, knows what they are going to want for breakfast the following day! Not many - and to foist it on to guests is an unwelcome return to this dated practice.
