From beds overlooking a lagoon and private outdoor showers, luxury rooms have relaxing Portuguese inspired elements and modern amenities. Some suites come with private butler and dipping pool.

The Leela Goa boasts a 12 hole golf course, limousine airport pick up, children's activity centre, entertainment lounge, and private beach. Ayurvedic treatments are on offer at the spa, and a fully equipped gym and sauna are also on site.

Seven eateries are located within the 75 acre grounds, including breakfast at The Pool Bar, seafood at Susegado, and Indian cuisine at Jamavar, to name just a few.

The largest attraction is the beach. Many historical houses of worship are found in Old Goa, such as the Basilica of Bom Jesus and the Shri Manguesh Temple.

Susegado is relaxing and enjoying life, a concept known by everyone in Goa and one that guests experience first hand, be it lazing on the beach or sipping on a delicious drink.

Breathtaking scenery seen from heavenly rooms.

The rooms are spacious, neat, and elegantly furnished with soft linens and impressive toiletries at The Leela Goa. The views are either ocean or lagoon-facing, so every room opens its windows to gorgeous scenery.

Courteous staff.

From the first welcome, staff show themselves to be outgoing, thoughtful, and full of surprises. If you're staying for a special occasion, don't be surprised to find a treat waiting for you in your room.

Negative Reviews

Paid Wi-Fi is old-fashioned.

Wi-Fi is not free, a fact that many find odd considering the luxurious nature of the hotel. Coming with a daily fee, many are annoyed at this hidden cost.

Pool on the small side.

Some have commented that the pool, though well-maintained, is a bit too small for their liking.

Location in South Goa is a bit isolated.

It's about an hour drive into Old Goa, where some of the most beautiful examples of old architecture lie. Getting to and from the hotel can cost a pretty penny. There are not too many restaurants to be found outside the hotel, either.
