About El Mirador Acapulco

El Mirador Acapulco is a historical, family-friendly, affordable hotel situated in the La Quebrada area of Acapulco. It features three swimming pools, two restaurants, a bar, and spectacular Pacific views and the famous cliff divers the area is known for.

Tasty meals and good entertainment

Guests report that meals at this hotel are fantastic and incorporate great food, entertainment such as world-famous cliff divers. The food is delicious and well-prepared and there are plenty of local and international dishes to choose from. Live entertainment occurs in the evenings and the cliff-divers can be watched from tables at the restaurant five times a day.

Uncaring staff

Guests report that the staff at this hotel are unfriendly and uncaring. There are frequent mix-ups with bookings and they don't seem to take the matter seriously nor care about the trouble it causes guests. They also provide false information and they dismiss issues with the rooms or take their time addressing them.

Old, poorly-maintained rooms

According to guests, the rooms at this hotel are old, poorly-maintained and look nothing like the pictures online. A number of issues are reported including dusty floors, uncomfortable beds, worn linens and pillows, tattered furniture and broken appliances. Guests also report missing amenities, dated decor and poor lighting.

A lack of facilities

The advertised Wi-Fi service only works sometimes in the lobby area and not at all anywhere else around the property, such as the rooms.
